To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include all of the following elements as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3):

Once we receive a valid DMCA notice, we follow this process:

1. 1We review the notice to verify it meets all legal requirements under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3).
2. 2If valid, we act promptly to remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
3. 3We notify the affected party (if applicable) and provide them with a copy of the notice.
4. 4We allow the affected party to submit a counter-notification if they believe the takedown was in error.

If you believe your content was removed due to a mistaken or misidentified DMCA notice, you may submit a counter-notification including your signature, identification of the removed material, a good-faith statement, and your contact information.

In accordance with the DMCA and applicable law, UCN Mail terminates, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.
