Business email on your own domain, configured for deliverability from the first message. Authentication, filtering, and DNS records are handled for you.
A partner, bank, or government office that receives a proposal from a free personal mailbox reads it as unpolished, not credible. In Egypt's business environment, a domain-matched email address is one of the clearest signals that a company is established and worth trusting. Professional email is a small investment that pays back in credibility every time a message is opened.
Microsoft's Digital Crimes Unit publicly identified an Egypt-linked phishing operation, run under the alias "MRxC0DER," behind branded phishing-kit storefronts including ONNX — which ranked among the top five phishing kit providers by email volume worldwide in November 2024. These kits let criminal customers launch large-scale credential-theft campaigns, including QR-code-based phishing sent via messaging apps, specifically targeting Microsoft 365 and Office 365 logins used by financial firms and other organizations. Egypt has since referred the international gang behind these platforms to criminal prosecution, underscoring both the scale of the threat and the seriousness with which it is now being pursued.
Mailbox providers score every sending domain before a message reaches an inbox. A domain without SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication looks unverified to these filters and gets routed to spam or blocked outright, regardless of how legitimate the sender is. Every quotation, invoice, or follow-up lost this way is a deal the business never knew it lost.
Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) requires explicit consent for processing personal data, mandates 72-hour breach notification to the Personal Data Protection Centre (PDPC), and regulates cross-border data transfers, with the Executive Regulations published in November 2025 (under a grace period until 31 October 2026) turning these principles into enforceable compliance obligations. Violations can carry fines of up to EGP 5,000,000 and imprisonment for serious breaches involving sensitive data. Separately, the Cybercrime Law (Law No. 175 of 2018) criminalizes unauthorized access, data interference, and electronic fraud. Business email, which routinely carries customer records, contracts, and payment instructions, falls within the scope of both laws.
Every week spent on an unverified or personal mailbox adds to the risk of impersonation, blocked mail, and credential theft. Egyptian businesses should move to a verified company domain, implement SPF, DKIM, and DMARC authentication, and require phone verification for any payment or bank-detail change requested by email. UCN Mail is built to make that shift straightforward — professional email with the authentication, security, and reliability an Egyptian business needs to be trusted and reach the inbox.

Fake Bank Verification Emails Are Egypt's Most Common Scam
Kaspersky's analysis of email scams targeting Egypt found phishing impersonating banks and government agencies the most common tactic, closely followed by fake "KYC verification" emails pretending to be from major banks demanding customers confirm account details to avoid suspension. Attackers routinely dress these messages up to look like legitimate correspondence from a trusted institution, which is exactly the kind of impersonation a properly authenticated business domain makes much harder to replicate convincingly against your own company.
Egypt's Data Protection Law Got Its Rulebook in December 2025
The Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020 finally received its Executive Regulations from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in December 2025, spelling out how businesses must actually implement data protection requirements after years of the underlying law sitting without detailed guidance. It applies to any business handling personal data — including what sits in a business inbox — making this the moment for Egyptian SMEs to actually look at how customer data is being stored and secured, not just whether a policy exists on paper.
The E-Invoicing System Has Processed Over 1.5 Billion Documents
Egypt's Tax Authority e-invoicing system had processed more than 1.5 billion e-documents by mid-2025, and every registered company — from the largest corporations to the smallest SME — must now issue invoices through it. Even with invoicing this centralized, everyday correspondence like quotes, order confirmations, and client communication still runs through ordinary email, which makes a secure, professional inbox just as important as compliant invoicing software.
A Free Gmail Address Still Undercuts a Serious Business
Egypt's economy is dominated by small businesses — one of the highest concentrations of small enterprises internationally — and many still run on a personal Gmail or Yahoo address, which can look informal next to a competitor emailing from [email protected]. A domain-matched address is a small, low-cost way to look as established as the business actually is.
Getting Started: What You'll Need
Have your domain name ready (or one to register), a short list of who needs a mailbox, and about 15–20 minutes to update your domain's DNS records with your registrar. UCN Mail handles domain verification and authentication setup, so your invoices and client correspondence land reliably — and are far harder for a scammer to convincingly spoof.
Included in every tier, at no extra cost.
Billing is per mailbox — add mailboxes on any tier as your team grows, and change a mailbox's tier anytime from your dashboard. There's no separate account-wide plan to manage.
